Solid high quality kiln-dried lumber* throughout, rough cut lumber side panels for added character, 6 adjustable shelves and solid wood antique wagon wheels as door handles. We take special care in giving this cabinet a weathered, old time look by fist staining is with a high quality aged oak stain and then finishing it with Benjamin Moore Brand Finish (click here for more information on Benjamin Moore Finish). The stain is used to give it the color and the finish makes it smooth to the touch and will protect the piece for years to come.

*It is a rarity to find log or rustic furniture that is built using kiln-dried lumber. But not only do we build our products using kiln-dried lumber, we build them using RUSTIC kiln-dried lumber. This means that our products have a rough-cut, old time look with color variations and saw marks, yet they are VERY smooth to the touch. Our lumber spends a great deal of time in a kiln in order to stabilize the moisture content within it. Although this is a very expensive and time-consuming process, it ensures the longevity of our furniture by greatly reducing the changes of warping or cracking over time. In addition, kiln-dried lumber will take finish better, last longer and will have much stronger joints.

If furniture is built with lumber that has NOT been kiln-dried, it is a good indication of the builder trying to save money and it is not worth the cost savings.
