This chair is built from hand-peeled ASPEN logs with a sturdy pine seat. We use the highest quality fabric or leather along with the most dense foam to provide and comfortable and long lasting cushion. Nice copper upholstery buttons are used for a beautiful rustic look. Each piece is hand-crafted creating unique and sturdy furniture full of character with knots, worm holes, color variations or other characteristic features. As always, these chairs are designed with sturdy mortise & tenon construction meaning each log end is tenoned to fit inside a hole drilled in an adjoining log and then bolted together (see pictures below). Comes already finished with Benjamin Moore Brand Finish (click here for more information on Benjamin Moore Finish).
