Double Drawer Log Nightstand/End Table - 3202:

The double drawer log nightstand/end table gives a little extra room over our single drawer log nightstand by adding an extra drawer.

Construction: Solid high quality pine, kiln dried lumber* & logs throughout, including a solid wood drawer bottom (no veneer). Easy slide drawer slides to last and last. Beautiful handpeeled log legs, trim & drawer handles to match our other log furniture.

*It is a rarity to find log or rustic furniture that is built using kiln-dried lumber. But not only do we build our products using kiln-dried lumber, we build them using RUSTIC kiln-dried lumber. This means that our products have a rough-cut, old time look with color variations and saw marks, yet they are VERY smooth to the touch. Our lumber spends a great deal of time in a kiln in order to stabilize the moisture content within it. Although this is a very expensive and time-consuming process, it ensures the longevity of our furniture by greatly reducing the changes of warping or cracking over time. In addition, kiln-dried lumber will take finish better, last longer and will have much stronger joints.

If furniture is built with lumber that has NOT been kiln-dried, it is a good indication of the builder trying to save money and it is not worth the cost savings.
