Our upholstery is much different than anything that is normally offered, even in some high-end furniture stores.  The foam we use in all our products is a very high resilient petroleum based rubber that lasts 20 to 30 years. Approximately 90% of all other cushions are made from polyurethane that only keeps its fullness for 1 to 4 years.  In addition, we use a cushion wrap around the foam for an extra feel and look of support and comfort.  This is a full 1 ounce per square foot of low melt fiber, densified for very long, hard use.

To cover our detailed cushion work, we use nothing less than the very best, industrial grade, quality fabric.  These fabrics have a very high thread count that lasts up to 3 times longer than most good fabrics - 3 times!  For example, most good furniture comes with a 5,000 to 10,000 thread count fabric.  We use up to a 1 million thread count fabric and most always at least a 21,000 thread count fabric on everything we upholster.  To finish things off, we use only the very best, double-stitch, nylon-polyester thread with a serge lock stitch instead of a cotton sewing thread single stitch.  A serge stitch is very strong and takes a lot of time to do - too much time for factories to us.  So 9 times out of 10, the serge stitching process is completely skipped by other furniture manufacturers.  In addition, our material is double stitched.  So we sew it once and then sew it again for extra durability.

Finally, keep in mind that all of our fabric also comes with a stain guard already applied.  Stain guard, of course, helps tremendously with any possible stains.  But even better than that, it assures the longevity of the cushion and helps with the durability of the item.
