Custom Bunk Beds - 1206:

These custom bunk beds have the footboards built so they can be climbed as a ladder or you can order a separate ladder to be attached to the side. They are very sturdy and rustic giving any bedroom a cabin-like feel.

Construction: Bunk bed frame built from nice-sized, hand-peeled ASPEN logs & sturdy lumber creating a one-of-a-kind log bunk bed. Each piece is full of character with knots, worm holes, color variations or other characteristic features. Full log side rails & guard rails (no metal side rails) for added strength and to keep the rustic look a log bed was meant to have. Rough cut lumber mattress supports to give your mattress the support it needs. Sturdy 100% mortise & tenon construction (including the mattress supports) meaning each log end is tenoned to fit inside a hole drilled in an adjoining log and then bolted together (see pictures below).

These beds comply with federal safety standards. Please ensure that the thickness of the mattress and foundation combined that you plan to use on these beds does not exceed 12 inches. This allows for plenty of room between the top of the mattress and the top of the guard rails to ensure the safety of those sleeping on the top bunk.

Ships disassembled in several packages accompanied by simple assembly instructions and necessary hardware. It is very heavy due to its solid construction & packaging.
