Armoire - 4213:

Construction: Solid high quality kiln-dried lumber* throughout, including solid wood drawer bottoms (no veneer), rough cut lumber side panels for added character and easy slide drawer & door slides to last and last. Trimmed with log trim on the sides and log drawer handles to match our other log furniture.

Notice that the doors are inset so they conveniently slide out of the way when not in use. Also comes with a solid, rough wood DVD or VCR shelf.

*It is a rarity to find log or rustic furniture that is built using kiln-dried lumber. But not only do we build our products using kiln-dried lumber, we build them using RUSTIC kiln-dried lumber. This means that our products have a rough-cut, old time look with color variations and saw marks, yet they are VERY smooth to the touch. Our lumber spends a great deal of time in a kiln in order to stabilize the moisture content within it. Although this is a very expensive and time-consuming process, it ensures the longevity of our furniture by greatly reducing the changes of warping or cracking over time. In addition, kiln-dried lumber will take finish better, last longer and will have much stronger joints.

If furniture is built with lumber that has NOT been kiln-dried, it is a good indication of the builder trying to save money and it is not worth the cost savings.

Dimensions: 3 1/2' long by 2 1/2' wide by 6' tall
Inside cabinet dimensions with doors closed (for a TV, DVD, VCR, etc) are 33 1/2" wide by 28" deep by 32" tall (from the shelf up) and 37" tall in total.
