(Side rail orders shipped seperately ship for $25 per set): Side rails are the rails that connect the head and footboards together. All beds come with one side rail on each side of the bed (except the "Classic" style which comes with two on each side). Our beds are plenty sturdy with only one side rail, but two rails on each side makes the beds even sturdier.
