Extra Spindles/Rungs $20 each, free shipping if shipped with the bed: Spindles/rungs are the smaller vertical pieces in the head and footboards of our beds. They are necessary to keep pillows from falling through the headboard. Otherwise, they are simply for looks. All beds come with some spindles in the headboard with the exception of our corral bed which comes with an extra headboard rail to keep pillows in place. Please check the description of the bed you are interested in to determine how many spindles come in the headboard and whether or not any come in the footboard.

The recommended maximum number of rungs/spindles per headboard or footboard is as follows.
