The GoodTimber BunkBed is economical without sacrificing the rustic nature and high quality of our furniture. It has the footboard built so it can be climbed as a ladder or you can order a separate ladder to be attached to or built into the side of the bunk.

Construction: Entire bed frame built from nice-sized lodgepole pine logs & sturdy lumber. Full log side rails & guard rails (no metal side rails) for added strength and to keep the rustic look a log bed was meant to have. Rough cut lumber mattress supports to give your mattress the support it needs. Sturdy 100% mortis & tenon construction (including the mattress supports) meaning each log end is tenoned to fit inside a hole drilled in an adjoining log and then bolted together (see pictures below).

Our bunk beds comply with federal safety standards. Please ensure that the thickness of the mattress and foundation combined that you plan to use on our bunkbeds does not exceed 12 inches. This allows for plenty of room between the top of the mattress and the top of the guard rails to ensure the safety of those sleeping on the top bunk.
