Our solid pine 5 drawer chest of drawers is built with a vertical space-saving
design and built to last with beautiful log trim to match our other handcrafted
log furniture. Made with rustic, high quality kiln dried lumber*. Also
available with slab drawer fronts and/or dovetail drawers.

Construction: Solid high quality, kiln-dried lumber throughout, including solid wood drawer bottoms (no veneer), rough cut lumber side panels for added character and easy slide drawer slides to last and last. Trimmed with log trim on the sides and log drawer handles to match our other log furniture. Vertical design is a great space saver for any room.

*It is a rarity to find log or rustic furniture that is built using kiln-dried lumber. But not only do we build our products using kiln-dried lumber, we build them using RUSTIC kiln-dried lumber. This means that our products have a rough-cut, old time look with color variations and saw marks, yet they are VERY smooth to the touch. Our lumber spends a great deal of time in a kiln in order to stabilize the moisture content within it. Although this is a very expensive and time-consuming process, it ensures the longevity of our furniture by greatly reducing the changes of warping or cracking over time. In addition, kiln-dried lumber will take finish better, last longer and will have much stronger joints.

If furniture is built with lumber that has NOT been kiln-dried, it is a good indication of the builder trying to save money and it is not worth the cost savings.

A log toe kick can be added to the bottom of the dresser for an additional $78.63 (see picture below). A swivel mirror (26" wide by 39" tall) can also be added for an additional $386.95 (see pictures below).
